Final Draft

My final version of the opening credit sequence is finished. I already mentioned my setbacks in the previous post so i wont discuss those here, but instead i will talk about the suggestions i got from last class and how i applied them to my video. First off i played around with color, but nothing looked good together. I took colors straight from movie stills and i even went through looking at Indian blankets to pull some color. Every other color combination just looked off. I figured that since my single word message is an unspecified journey that, yes, implying more of India would be nice, but is not necessary for my simple direction. I did, however, go through and try to sync up sections with the music. I could not do this for every change in pitch, but i feel i got a couple of key areas. Overall i enjoy the video, but it looks very amateurish compared to others. I knew that coming in when using basic graphical elements in a 2-D world that it would like very basic compared to some of my classmates. So yes i like it, but i also like a lot of others more than mine.
